In 1975, Jollibee began as a two-branch ice cream parlor offering ice cream as well as hot meals and sandwiches. Three years and 5 more branches later, it incorporated to explore the possibilities of a hamburger concept. Thus was born the company that revolutionized fast food in the Philippines.
Today, Jollibee is a bustling network of over 1,000 restaurants worldwide. From the Philippines, it has branched out to Brunei, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, and the USA. After 38 years since its founding, Jollibee will now open its first store in Canada this December 2016. Winnipeg, Manitoba will be the site of Jollibee’s first restaurant in the great white north.
